How Caviar should be stored? At what temperature?

In our stock you will find fresh unpasteurised Malossol
Sturgeon Caviar from one of the world’s best aquafarms located in the Ukraine.
This is top quality gourmet vacuum-packed product, which requires strict
adherence to temperature-controlled storage (from -2 to -4°C).

Once taken from the Caviar Chiller and transferred to a conventional fridge, it
can be stored up to a week. Upon opening of the Caviar jar, it can be stored in
a conventional fridge (from 0 to +8 C) for up to 48 hours.

This rare, exotic & valuable product falls under the category of perishable
chilled foods and must be transported in a swift and chilled (but not frozen!)
manner.

knowledge of Caviar.

3. All the Caviar House’s stock is stored in a specially
designed and bespoke-made Caviar Chiller with the specific temperature range
optimal for the proper long-term storage Sturgeon Caviar: from -4 to -2 degrees Celsius. Moreover, this special Caviar
Chiller is connected to a powerful back-up generator, which guarantees continuous
power supply to the valuable Caviar Stock in case of power cuts, even lengthy
ones.

In contrast, conventional deli or similar retailers do not invest in a special
Caviar Chiller (far too expensive for them) and incorrectly store Caviar in
conventional fridges long-term (with the temperature set for 3 degrees Celsius
or even higher) which presents a food poisoning risk for purchasing customers, or
in freezers (with the temperature set for -18 degrees Celsius or lower) which
ruins Caviar.

4. Most people in New

Delivery

IMPORTANT: Caviar is categorised as perishable chilled foods and
must be transported in a swift and chilled (but not frozen!) manner.

Apart from Auckland, do you also deliver to other New Zealand destinations?

Yes, the Caviar House’s team can arrange prompt chilled
delivery to most destinations in New Zealand - subject of a special arrangement
with us. Please contact the director Victoria to discuss.



Please note that for our customers flying out from Auckland, we can even meet
you with your order in a chilled container before your flight at the Auckland
Airport, so you can take it with you. This is a free service for orders
starting from $494.

What is the delivery policy?

Once your order is placed, you will receive a confirmation email letting you know that our fulfillment team has received your order. Once your order is ready we will contact your regarding delivery details. Delivery fees are non-refundable in the case of returns.

What is the return policy?

Due to Food Safety & Hygiene Standards, you can not return these products unless they are faulty. If you have any concerns, please contact us before we have your delivery scheduled.
